Privacy Notice for California Residents

Effective Date: March 26, 2024

This State Privacy Notice supplements the information contained in PURITY PRODUCTS Privacy Notice and applies solely to residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Montana, Oregon, Texas, Utah, and Virginia ("Consumers" or "You"). We adopt this notice to comply with applicable state consumer privacy laws.

California Privacy Rights

This section contains disclosures required by the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA") and applies only to "personal information" that is subject to the CCPA. It does not apply to employment-related personal information collected from California-based employees, job applicants, contractors, or similar individuals.

Personal Information We Collect

In the preceding 12 months, we collected the following categories of personal information from or about California consumers, and disclosed, sold, or shared it as described below:

• Personal and online identifiers (such as name, alias, postal address, unique personal identifier, online identifier, Internet Protocol address, email address, account name, Social Security number, driver's license number, passport number, or other similar identifiers) — Disclosed to: Purity Products Affiliates and Partners; Service providers; other third parties which you have authorized us to disclose personal information collected from you. Sold/Shared with: Data aggregators; third parties offering products or services that may be of interest to you.
• Categories listed in Section 1798.80(e) of the California Civil Code (such as name, signature, Social Security number, physical characteristics or description, address, telephone number, passport number, driver's license or state identification card number, insurance policy number, education, employment, employment history, bank account number, credit card number, debit card number, or any other financial information, medical information, or health insurance information) — Disclosed to: Purity Products Affiliates and Partners; Service providers; other third parties which you have authorized us to disclose personal information collected from you. Sold/Shared with: Data aggregators; third parties offering products or services that may be of interest to you.
• Commercial or transactions information (such as records of personal property, products or services purchased, obtained, or considered, or other purchasing or consuming histories or tendencies) — Disclosed to: Purity Products Affiliates and Partners; Service providers; other authorized third parties.
• Biometric information (such as call recordings) — Disclosed to: Purity Products Affiliates and Partners; Service providers; other authorized third parties.
• Internet or other electronic network activity information (such as browsing history, search history, information on a consumer's interaction with a website, application, or advertisement) — Disclosed to: Purity Products Affiliates and Partners; Service providers; other authorized third parties.
• Geolocation information — Disclosed to: Purity Products Affiliates and Partners; Service providers; other authorized third parties.
• Inferences drawn from the above information about your predicted characteristics and preferences — Disclosed to: Purity Products Affiliates and Partners; Service providers; other authorized third parties.

Please note that the categories identified above indicate that we may collect at least some, but not every example of personal information in that category.

Sensitive Personal Information

Some of the categories of personal information listed above are considered sensitive personal information under the CCPA. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information, as defined by the CCPA, for purposes other than those specified in the CCPA. We use or disclose sensitive personal information for the following purposes:

1. To perform services or provide goods reasonably expected by the average consumer requesting those goods or services;
2. For data breach prevention, detection, and investigation;
3. To resist malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal actions directed at the business;
4. To ensure the physical safety of natural persons;
5. For short term, transient use, such as non-personalized contextual advertising that does not involve disclosure of the sensitive personal information to third parties;
6. To perform business services, like customer service or order fulfillment;
7. For quality control; and/or
8. For processing that is not for the purpose of inferring characteristics about a consumer.

Why We Collect, Use, Sell, and Share California Information

We use and disclose the personal information we collect for our commercial and business purposes, as further described in this Privacy Notice. These commercial and business purposes include, without limitation:

• Our commercial purposes, including products or services purchased, obtained, or considered, or other purchasing or consuming histories or tendencies
• Our business purposes as identified in the CCPA, which include:
  • Auditing related to our interactions with you
  • Legal compliance
  • Detecting and protecting against security incidents, fraud, and illegal activity
  • Debugging
  • Performing services (for us or our service provider) such as account servicing, processing orders and payments, and analytics
  • Internal research for technological improvement
  • Internal operations
  • Activities to maintain and improve our services
  • Other one-time uses

Retention of California Personal Information

We retain the personal information we collect for as long as reasonably necessary to accomplish the purposes described above. We determine the applicable retention period by reviewing our business uses and internal retention policies and procedures.

We sell or share the categories of personal information designated above to the categories of third parties listed below:

• Affiliates not under the Purity Products brand

We disclose the categories of personal information designated above to the categories of recipients listed below for business purposes:

• Purity Products Affiliates and Partners
• Service providers
• Third parties which you have authorized us to disclose personal information collected from you in connection with the services and products that Purity Products provides to you

State Privacy Rights

Your Rights and Choices Regarding Personal Information

Residents of certain states have rights with respect to the personal information collected by Purity Products. You may be able to exercise the following rights regarding personal information, subject to certain exceptions and limitations:

• Depending on your state, the right to receive a portable and readily usable copy of the personal information we have collected about you, to the extent feasible.
• The right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell about you; the categories of sources from which we collected personal information about you; our purposes for collecting or selling personal information about you; the categories of personal information about you that we have either sold or disclosed for a business purpose; and the categories of third parties with which we have shared personal information.
• The right to request that we delete the personal information we have collected from you.
• The right to request correction of inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
• The right to opt out of our sale or sharing of personal information collected from you. Please note that if you opt out of certain types of sales, we will be unable to provide you with the services that rely on such sales.
• Choice regarding sensitive information. Depending on your state, you can:
  • Limit our processing of certain "sensitive" personal information;
  • Opt out of our processing of certain "sensitive" information; or
  • Withdraw consent for such processing if you previously gave it.
• The right not to receive discriminatory treatment for the exercise of the privacy rights conferred by the CCPA.

Additionally, for Colorado, Connecticut, Montana, Oregon, Texas, and Virginia residents, if you have submitted a request that we have not reasonably fulfilled, you may contact us to appeal our decision by sending an email with the subject line "Appeal" to privacy@purityproducts.com.

Verification Process and Required Information

Note that we may need to request additional information from you to verify your identity or understand the scope of your request, although you will not be required to create an account with us to submit a request or have it fulfilled. We will require you to provide, at a minimum, your name and phone number.

Authorized Agent

You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf by providing sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected personal information or an authorized representative. Additionally, you must describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.

Minors' Rights

We do not have actual knowledge that we sell the personal information of minors under 16 years of age.
